Roadgas Infrastructure Supports GXO Leeds
Roadgas has successfully delivered a new bespoke LCNG refuelling station for GXO at its site in Leeds.
Commissioned in April 2026, the project forms part of Roadgas’ continued commitment to supporting fleet operators with practical, lower carbon refuelling solutions. Designed specifically for GXO’s operational requirements, the station provides dedicated access to LCNG refuelling infrastructure for their gas trucks.
As an LCNG refuelling facility, where fuel is delivered and stored as LNG in a cryogenic tank, LNG is pumped through an ambient vaporiser converting it into CNG. The CNG is stored in high pressure storage modules and used to refuel gas haulage vehicles at 200 bar.
This gives GXO access to a flexible refuelling solution that combines LNG storage with CNG vehicle refuelling capability, helping to meet their goal of an efficient day-to-day fleet operation.
The project demonstrates Roadgas’ ability to design, install and support bespoke refuelling infrastructure for customers looking to transition their fleets to lower carbon fuel solutions working with either LNG or CNG.
The successful delivery of the GXO Leeds LCNG station represents another important example of Roadgas’ engineering expertise.
Roadgas are proud to support GXO with their dedicated LCNG refuelling infrastructure, helping to provide a reliable, practical and lower carbon fuel solution for its haulage operation.
