The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce supports businesses in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire through networking, training, advocacy, and international trade services, fostering regional economic growth and helping members succeed locally and globally. Our Marketing Director sits on their board as a non executive Director.
ADBA is the UK Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association and is important in helping us to better understand the supply of green gases to our clients. Working with ADBA means we are helping the UK to meet its’ renewable energy and waste targets and pave the way for a carbon-free future.
For over 10 years’ now Roadgas has been an active participant in the Fuels Working Group at ZEMO. Their area of speciality is in developing schemes and initiatives to increase the adoption of sustainable low carbon fuels, such as biofuels, biomethane and renewable hydrogen.
Our MD is closely involved with the standards and technical specification for high pressure gases as a Director of BCGA. Formed in 1901 the BCGA is a collaboration of highly skilled individuals who uphold technical and safety values for the gas industry.
iGEM is the professional engineering institution for gas engineers. They publish technical standards, deliver high quality events and training that contributes to the professional development of our service engineers.
The BCC is an umbrella organisation within the United Kingdom for those utilising or working in the field of Cryogenics including, but not limited to, universities, research organisations and the wider industry.
East Midlands Combined County Authority is a regional body driving economic growth, devolution and investment across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and cities like Derby and Nottingham, aiming to enhance infrastructure, skills, transport, and innovation through local collaboration and government funding. Our Marketing Director participates in the quarterly business advisory board meetings held around the region.
Roadgas is extremely proud to have been selected as one of the Chamber's Sustainable East Midlands early campaign supporters. Being successfully engaged in the low-carbon agenda, the company showcases the support available to those that want to learn more about the net zero agenda in our area.
Nottingham City Council has set an ambition to become the first carbon neutral city in the UK by 2028. Together with city partners like us, NCC will be creating new climate change and energy plans for the next decade. Roadgas supports and helps to set in motion this ambitious work and turn words into actions for a better tomorrow.
